Sophia competed at the Colorado State Championships at ageeleven, where she won the Floor Exercise. From there, shequalified to seven consecutive Regional Championships and at theCancun Classic in Mexico at age twelve. At seventeen, Sophiaqualified as a Level 10 gymnast to the U.S. NationalInvitational Tournament, Gold on Balance Beam, Bronze on UnevenBars, and Fifth Place All-Around.With dual citizenship in Italy, Sophia achieved her goal oftraining at the Elite level with the Italian National Team. Shefirst competed in Serie A, Italy’s professional league in 2015,with her team taking First Place at the prestigious ItalianGolden League competition. She joined Serie A again in 2017 and2022. In 2021 she was Italy’s National Champion on Bars.

She was a guest choreographer at 1992 Olympian Betty Okino's Peak Training Camp for three consecutive years. She choreographs routines in Italy as well as the US and loves this addition to her career!

What is the minimum age requirement for participating at Sophia's gymnastics clinics?

Gymnasts must be at least five years old to participate in a gymnastics clinic, unless organized specifically for a younger age group.

Can I come to an event if I don't do gymnastics?

Of course! You can either come during the last hour of the event for a picture with Sophia and autograph, or sign up for the event to try out gymnastics!

Will there be photos/videos taken at the events?

Yes, but each participant will be able to decide whether or not to be filmed.

Are the gymnastics clinics for girls and boys?

Sophia teaches women's gymnastics, but boys are welcome to join in.

Can I come by an event just to purchase Sophia's book?

Of course! The last hour of her events are dedicated to photos, autographs, and book sales.
